17 December 2016CWR was activated at 11.57 today after receiving an alert of drowning in progress at Van Stadens Resort. On arrival it was established that one of the duty lifeguards successfully retrieved the patient and he was safely back on shore. The Beach Office also responded with their jetski from Maitlands should further assistance be required.
On scene CWR, Beach Office, Beach Office Life Guards and EMS.
