01Nov2015 - Near drowning Wells Estate

This morning (Sunday) at 8:52 the Coastal Water Rescue squad was activated with a drowning in progress at Wells Estate. On arrival it was established that the patient was already out of the water. EMS paramedics attended to the patient who was transported to Dora Nginza Hospital after being stabilised. On scene was Beach Office, CWR, BWBLSC, EMS, EMS Aeromed Chopper, SAPS and SAPS Dive Unit. Well done to all involved.
