Veeplaas Double Drowning
15 January 2015At 18h59 this evening Coastal Water Rescue were notified of a drowning incident in Veeplaas. The squad was immediately activated and on arrival a water search commenced in a shallow dam. During the search the bodies of two young victims were recovered by CWR swimmers. On stand down, the scene was handed over to the SAPS. The Beach Office, Fire, NSRI and Metro EMS were also on scene providing assistance.
