06 June 2024CWR squad members were activated and deployed to Uitenhage on Sat, 01 Jun 2024, at about 23.30 to assist with evacuating flood-affected victims. The squad remained in Uitenhage, ready for further deployment until this morning at 7am.
Under the direction of NSRI Station 6, squad members were deployed to several of the most severely affected areas and assisted residents with evacuation from waterlogged homes and properties.
