15Nov2022 - Drowning Brighton Beach
15 November 2022On Wednesday 15 Nov 2022 the CWR squad was activated to respond to Brighton Beach following reports received of a drowning in progress.
On arrival it was noted that the incident happened more than an hour prior to the alert, and due to dangerous seas conditions rescue swimmers were not sent into the water.
The Beach Office launched their craft and performed an extensive water search.
