16Apr2022 - Boat capsized Swartkops River Mouth

On 16 Apr 2022 the CWR squad was activated at 06:58 following reports that a boat had capsized in the Swartkops River Mouth. 

The BWBLSC launched their rescue duck with two members and found the skipper was in the surf on the southern side of the river mouth, and assisted him to shore. 

NSRI launched from the harbour to assist with the search, and brought the casualty back the the scene on the northern side of the river where CWR members assisted to warm him up, after which he was handed to Gardmed for further treatment.
