03Jan2022 - Drowning in progress - Beachview
03 January 2022Today at 18:00 the CWR squad was activated following a notification received of a drowning in progress at Beachview Resort.
Due to dangerous sea conditions, swimmers were not sent into the water and the squad members assisted to search the shoreline, and also scanning the ocean for any sightings.
The Beach Office jetski was deployed at the same time and performed a water search.
At sunset, the search was called off without any further sightings. ,
