12Oct2019 - Capsized boat Noordhoek

On Saturday 12 October at 9:09am the Coastal Water Rescue squad was activated following reports that a boat capsized at Noordhoek and that there were 4 people in the water.

On arrival of the first squad members, it was found that 3 of the 4 crew made it safely to shore, but that CPR was being performed on the 4th crew member who was rescued from the water by the NSRI crew. 

The extensive efforts by the medical crew to resuscitate the 4th crew member was unfortunately not successful.
