28Nov2018 - Drowning Swartkops River

On Wednesday 28 Nov 2018 CWR activated the squad at 15:25 after receiving reports of a drowning in progress in the Swartkops River. 

On arrival it was established that two men attempted to cross the river, the one exited after entering but the other got into trouble in the middle. 

A fisherman witness this and alerted the authorities. 

CWR did an extensive search for almost one hour but unfortunately was not successful in locating the victim.
