31May2018 - Missing fisherman Sunday's River Mouth

Today at 12.10pm CWR activated the squad after a report received from WERC (Water Emergency Rescue Committee) that a fisherman was missing at Sundays River near the mouth.

Several members deployed to the Sundays River mouth to assist with a water search.

After a search of the immediate area the search was handed over to the SAPS divers, who continued with an extensive underwater search.

The search was later called off after no sign of the missing person was found.
