08May2018 - Small plane emergency landing

CWR activated the squad at 12.15 today after reports of a small aircraft that had gone down in the salt pans near Colchester.

Later on further information was received that it was a small plane which had done an emergency landing in the salt pans between Coega and Colchester. Neither the pilot or passenger were hurt during the landig, and managed to exit the plane and make their way to the side and a stand down was issued to the squad.
