04Mar2018 - Near drowning New Brighton Beach
04 March 2018On Sunday 04 Mar 2018, the CWR squad was activated after receiving reports from WERC that there was a drowning in progress at New Brighton Beach.
On arrival it was established that a single person was in trouble, and was successfully assisted by the duty lifeguards. A stand down was issued to the squad.
