21May2017 - Drowning Something Good

Today at about 15:40 one of our members was just finishing her cycle at Something Good when she heard people call for help on the beach that CPR is needed. A 56 year old victim was observed unresponsive in the water, one of his friends ran in and retrieve him to shore.

CPR was initiated by a by stander, our squad member took over to assist and continued until Gardmed Ambulance Services arrived on scene. Unfortunately the resuscitation attempts were not successful.

The Coastal Water Rescue squad was not activated.
