26Apr2016 - Suicidal patient Humewood Beach

On Wednesday 22:30 CWR activated selected members and WERC after receiving a call from one of our own members requesting assistance with a intoxicated and suicidal patient on Humewood Beach. He had already managed to retrieve the patient from waist deep water but there was a concern that the patient would attempt to enter the water again.

EMS and Beach Office also activated their unit to assist after the Water Emergency Rescue Committee was notified. EMS checked the patient, and released him to friends of the family for further care.
