11Mar2017 - Drowning Loskop Dam Uitenhage
11 March 2017The CWR squad was activated at 14:10 today following reports from WERC (Water Emergency Rescue Committee) of a drowning in progress at the Willow Dam in Uitenhage.
Unfortunately the young victim did not survive and the body was recovered by K9 Search & Rescue of Uitenhage SAPS.
A stand down was issued to the squad shortly after the arrival of our first members on scene.
